We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our team rider, born-and-raised Kiwi, Kosta Gladiadis, who claimed an outstanding 2nd place finish at the 2025 WingFoil Racing Youth & Masters’ Worlds in Azores, Portugal.
From the opening heats to the final gun, Kosta showed remarkable composure, consistency, and was leading on points the whole way through to the medal series. Across everything the Atlantic served up - shifty breeze, pressure lines, and technical downwind angles. All week he delivered the kind of measured performances that win championships: clean starts, disciplined laylines, and confident foil control through the high-speed transitions that define modern wingfoil racing.
A Breakthrough on the World Stage
This was Kosta’s first major international competition - a milestone moment in his young career and a clear signal of what’s to come. Stepping onto a global start line can be as much a mental test as a physical one, but Kosta rose to the occasion with the poise of a seasoned pro. Heat after heat, he banked points with smart decisions and efficient speed, pushing the fleet leaders and making clutch moves when it mattered most.
